Spin

In our separate studio we offer aerobic spin classes. Our trained instructor will lead you in an intense music led workout on one of our exercise bikes.

What is Spin?

Spin is an aerobic based exercise regime that uses a specially designed stationary bicycle. Along with a group, you pedal to exciting music and an instructors commands that keep you motivated throughout the session. But it’s not an all-out slog-fest, in fact the pace varies during the class; pedaling as fast as you can at times and at others pedaling slowly from a standing position.

Why we love it:

Spin burns major calories (about 450 in 45 minutes) and delivers an incredible aerobic workout and makes your heart pump fast. It’s great for toning your legs too; the quadriceps (front thigh muscles) and outer thigh muscles get a major workout!

You also don’t need to be a prima-ballerina to enjoy spinning because you stay in one place with the same basic movements throughout. Although you follow the general instructions of the spin teacher, you are in control when it comes to your pace and at the end of the class you will be left tired, yet exhilarated.
